Να και ένας οικονομικός τρόπος να ζεσταθούμε αι αυτόν το χειμώνα...

Επιστήμονες και μετεωρολόγοι έχουν προβλέψει πολύ βαρύ τον φετινό χειμώνα. Το πετρέλαιο παραμένει στα ύψη, για το ηλεκτρικό ρεύμα ας μην το συζητήσουμε καν. Οπότε πρέπει να βρούμε τρόπους για να ζεσταθούμε.

Ο πιο οικονομικός τρόπος για αν ζεσταθούμε είναι τα πλεκτά. Σχεδόν όλοι πια φοράμε πλεκτά πουλόβερ, ζακέτες, ενώ και οι πλεκτές κουβέρτες έχουν αρχίσει να μπαίνουν σιγά- σιγά στη ζωή μας.

I work with 5 kg bumps of unspun #merino wool which I buy directly from a farm gate here in Oz. I love my farming family. They are everything you"d imagine Aussie #sheep farmers to be: salt of the earth, hard working people who adore their herd and care for them beautifully. They are proud of what I create using their wool and They always have time for my quirky questions and this is the latest gem they have passed on. It takes the fleece of two sheep to make a 5 kg bump of #unspun #wool. Now I can"t get out of my head the image of one of my #throws walking around with eight little legs underneath it. I'm preparing "Show and Tell" for my New York workshop with The School. This is 19 micron #Australianmerinowool. That means it is super soft, super luxurious and super wonderful to knit with. Merino of this grade against your skin is pure joy. I'm knitting two of these in a cable stitch and will felt one of them so that I can show my process to the class.
